Champion man shot in face, flown by chopper for treatment
The victim couldn't speak but nodded to officers that he didn't know who shot him or where he was shot.

WARREN, Ohio - Police are trying to find out how a Champion Township man was shot in the face.
Warren police officers were called to Trumbull Regional Medical Center shortly before 1 a.m. where doctors were working on a 31-year-old patient with a major gunshot wound to the face.
Hospital personnel say they do not have the name of the woman who drove him to the hospital.
The victim’s injuries were so serious, he couldn’t speak but nodded to officers that he didn’t know where he was shot or who shot him.
Police went to his home in Champion but found no evidence of a crime scene.
The victim was flown to Mercy Hospital for further treatment. His current condition is unknown.
