Penn State Shenango adds accounting major option for 2021
SHARON, Pa. - Penn State Shenango is adding a fifth new major option for 2021.
According to the release, Penn State has approved the addition of an accounting program to its business major options.
The major includes accounting and other areas in business including management and marketing.
Other upper division courses in the program include logistics, information systems and taxation.
"This degree is created for students seeking a broad-based education that prepares them for the business world," said Georgia Macris, business program coordinator. "The program combines core business fundamentals with applied study and internships in a practical setting."
The accounting program joins corporate communications, criminal justice, cybersecurity analytics and operations, and health policy and administration as programs that will launch in 2021.
