NEW MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - There will be no charges filed against New Middletown's former police chief following an investigation prompted by items found on a department computer.
Late last year, an investigation was launched into allegations that former police chief Vince D'Egidio had pornographic images as well as a video of himself performing a sex act stored on an agency computer.
The Mahoning County Prosecutor's Office and sheriff's department determined there was not a minor in the video, so they will not pursue any felony charges.
Back in November, D'Egidio resigned from the department.
