Suspicious fire leaves Warren family homeless

WARREN, Ohio - Investigators are looking into a suspicious fire that left a Warren family homeless.
According to police three children were inside the home on the 1100 bloc of Palmyra St. SW when flames erupted outside the kitchen window.
One of the older children said he grabbed the two-year-old and they ran from the home.
The first firefighters to arrive saw smoke coming from the home's windows and doors. Dire was climbing up the side of the home, reaching the roof.
The 33-year-old homeowner arrived and told police that her boyfriend had just left the home before the fire started.
Fire Chief Ken Nussle, who is calling the fire "suspicious", said damage to the home is extensive.
The Red Cross is helping the family find shelter and other needs.
