Body found in Slippery Rock Township identified
An investigation is underway after a body was found in Lawrence County.
Police responded to Houk Road near Shady Lane Saturday in Slippery Rock Township around noon. That's where officials say they found the body.
The Lawrence County Coroner identified John Hogue, 58, of New Castle as the body that was found.
The Lawrence County Coroner's Office and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the death
Officials say no traumatic injuries were found on Hogue and toxicology reports are pending.
Police say they are investigating a vehicle in the victim's driveway prior to his death.
Police are trying to find the owners of a dark green Ford Van, however, they say it is not confirmed if the van was involved in Houge's death.
