One dead following head-on crash in Mesopotamia Twp.

MESOPOTAMIA TWP., Ohio - One person is dead following a head-on crash in Mesopotamia Township.
The crash happened around 3:25 p.m. Sunday afternoon on State Route 87.
According to the release, 33-year-old Steven Drotar of North Bloomfield was eastbound on SR87 when he drove into the westbound lane during a curve.
Drotar's Chevrolet van collided with a Chevy Suburban, overturning the van in the road. The collision sent the Suburban into a ditch.
Drotar was life-flighted to Cleveland University Hospital where he passed away.
The driver of the Suburban was taken to Geauga University Hospital and then life-flighted to Cleveland University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Both drivers were wearing a seat belt during the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
