Hundreds of positions at TJX and several at Mercy Health and Macys, to name a few, are becoming easier for people to attain.

Flying High Incorporated's Professional Development Center has a new Job Placement Welcome Center that allows anyone to walk in and get registered for employment.

"We have a system that we're gonna help you if you have any barriers we can help you overcome those barriers we're gonna put you through a process to get you specifically qualified for the employers that are hiring," said Jeff Magada, Executive Director at Flying High Incorporated. "We're gonna put you in that pool of qualified workers and then we're gonna present you to the employer," he said.

Some of those barriers include not having a GED, having a criminal background or even a past with drugs.

"If you do have a criminal background or you are transitioning from recovery and you want to get work, then we have support services in place that can help you get marketable for employment," said Magada.

Already, Flying High has helped over 300 people get jobs, 133 of which were not qualified. Some have even come out with a career.

"We have some that start as an STNA and then they go into nursing programs because they learn more about what it is to be a nurse," said Arisha Williams, Talent Acquisition Supervisor at Mercy Health, Youngstown. "Providing that support and then that you know, increases their level of interest to pursue nursing careers," she said.

Magada tells 21 News they'll be doing community outreach to find people who need this program the most. To get registered, click here
