VIENNA TWP., Ohio - A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a crash on Route 82 in Vienna Township. 

The accident happened just before 9:30 a.m. on Route 82 westbound to the ramp to Route 11 soutbound. 

Initial reports from Trumbull County Dispatch said the rider went off the ramp. 

They said another rider who was with the victim stopped on the side of the road and was not involved in the crash. 

The rider appeared to have suffered severe head injuries, according to reports from dispatchers. 

Their exact condition is unknown at this time. 

State troopers are investigating the crash.

Reports from dispatchers said that the rider was not wearing a helmet and was going about 60 mph when they crashed.
