Local products have made huge contributions for the Westminster Football team, who is now 4-0 after beating Carnegie Mellon, 32-22.

Among those names, Sharon graduate Ty Eilam.  The Titans' wideout caught seven passes for 125 yards and two scores.

He was the go-to target Friday night for Cole Konieczka, who finished 19-31, 344 yards and three touchdowns.

The Westminster defense was the story of the first quarter as Ian Barr and Brayden Thimons teamed up for a safety.

The Titans offense matched the intensity in the second quarter as Konieczka ran for a score, and also found Eilam for a 44-yard strike.

The Tartans rallied down 12 to tie the game at 15 in the third quarter, after Luke Bikulege crossed the goal line with 6:01 to play in the frame.

Westminster responded with another Konieczka-Eilam touchdown, a Dylan Kidder 29-yard field goal, and Konieczka-Ian Valentine 71-yard hookup.  All in a span of seven minutes, leaving Carnegie Mellon down 32-15 with 9:11 to play.
