Man arrested after assault at Youngstown liquor store
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A man is now in custody after police say he was involved in an assault inside a Youngstown liquor store
The incident happened on the city's Westside during an argument at the Wine Cellar Ohio Liquor Agency on Meridian Road.
Brandon Seamons, 37, was arrested on a felonious assault charge Thursday.
Police were initially called to the scene with a report of a man with a gun.
When police arrived they say they found an employee lying on the ground bleeding from a head wound.
Police say surveillance video shows the employee arguing with Seamons, with the employee pulling a gun during the argument, but later putting the weapon away.
The employee allegedly hit Seamons phone from his hand which is when police say Seamons then hit the employee in the head.
Seamons was arrested later without incident and is currently being held in the Mahoning County jail.
