Valley long-term care facilities reach 505 COVID deaths since start of pandemic
There have been a total of 505 COVID-19 related deaths among long-term care facility residents in the area. Mahoning has the most with 275, followed by Trumbull with 151 and Columbiana with 79.

The Ohio Department of Health has released an updated look at the number of coronavirus cases at local long-term care facilities.
The Mahoning Valley has a total of 33 cases across 14 facilities.

Columbiana County: Reported NO new staff member or resident cases
Mahoning County: 32 total cases, 26 staff members, six residents at 22 facilities.
