Boardman police officers testing body cameras
Over the next two to three weeks, 10 officers will be wearing the cameras during their shifts to test them before the department makes a final decision on which one to move forward with.

BOARDMAN, Ohio - The Boardman Police Department is testing body worn cameras over the next few weeks.
The department has been conducting a review of body worn cameras for the department over the past several months and have settled on three different options.
BPD says they have finalized a detailed policy for the use of the body cameras and did training on their use before starting field testing Monday.
Over the next two to three weeks, 10 officers will be wearing the cameras during their shifts to test them before the department makes a final decision on which one to move forward with.
Police and the Township say they fully support the use of cameras for their officers.
