Man pleads not guilty after domestic dispute in Champion leads to arrest

CHAMPION TWP., Ohio - A Trumbull County man was arrested after police said a domestic dispute led to a police presence Monday night at a home.
Jacob Pawcio, 39, plead not guilty to four charges Tuesday morning in Warren Municipal Court.
Pawcio has been charged with aggravated menacing, using weapons/intoxicated, inducing panic and disorderly conduct.
First calls about the situation on the 400 block of Champion Street West went out around 9:30 p.m.
Champion Township police said Pawcio was in a home in refusing to come outside when police arrived.
They said Pawcio was not armed with a weapon when he did come outside, but did appear intoxicated and was taken into custody.
There is no word on if he had weapons inside the home.
Police said the department has had run-ins before with Pawcio.
Pawcio's bond has been set at $75,000.
Another court date is scheduled for next month.
