YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - An area doctor that was arrested following a dispute with another doctor is free on bond.

Dr. Daniel Barton, a nephrologist, pleaded not guilty to assault in court Tuesday.

Barton is accused of shoving another doctor over a patient's treatment.

He's been ordered to stay away from the cardiologist he had the dispute with.

Dr. Barton is not employed by Mercy Health, but he is allowed to practice at the hospitals.
