Suspects arrested for shooting, robbery of Liberty Domino delivery driver

LIBERTY TWP, Ohio - Liberty police have now arrested two suspects in connection with the shooting and robbery of a Domino delivery driver in the township.
Investigators told 21 News that 22-year-olds Tre Vaughn Powell and Jermaine Stroughter Jr. were arrested.
Powell was arrested Thursday on charges of aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
Meanwhile, Stroughter was arrested Tuesday on charges of complicity to felonious assault, complicity to aggravated robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and having weapons under disability.
Police said Stroughter was the "lookout" in the April 15 shooting and robbery of delivery driver Orlando Soto, who was attempting to make a delivery in the area of Montrose and Staunton when he was confronted by someone armed with a handgun.
Investigators said it is too early to tell the exact role Powell played in the incident.
After ordering Soto down to the ground, and taking his money, a suspect shot him, according to police.
Stroughter is expected back in court next week.
A court date is yet to be set for Powell.
