WARREN TWP., Ohio -  The sound of a smoke alarm forced people out of their Warren Township home early Monday.

Dispatchers received a call shortly after 5:30 a.m. that home on Orris Road was on fire.

Residents say they were wakened by the alarm and managed to get out of the home.

One person suffered a minor foot burn.

Although the home is still livable, the Red Cross has been contacted to assist the residents.

Firefighters from Braceville and other communities were called in to help fight the flames.

The Ohio Fire Marshal has been contacted to determine the cause of the fire.
