The cool weather will stick with us this weekend as highs will only be in the upper 40's to lower 50's. Spotty showers are possible Saturday morning and will start to taper off as we head into the afternoon.

Peaks of sunshine are possible Saturday afternoon, but it won't help much with our temps.

A low-pressure system will push up through the south and bring widespread showers for Mother's Day. Some heavy downpours are possible and temps will fall to the mid 40's throughout the day.

Some wet snowflakes could also mix in with the steady rain.

On to the good news.

We will finally hit a stretch of dry weather this week and more sunshine is expected throughout the week. Temperatures look to warm back into the 60's for the latter half of the week.
