GIRARD, Ohio - The Girard IFH Mt. Carmel Festival will take place this summer.

Organizers announced that the festival will take place from July 12 to July 16.

Those going can expect to taste some of the area's best Italian dishes including pizza, Italian sausage, cannolis, and pasta.

A firework presentation is being planned for the festival on its final day.

Between 8 p.m. and 12 a.m., East Liberty Street will be closed between Route 422 and Marshall Road on July 16 for the fireworks.
