Protesters gather in Downtown Youngstown in support of Palestinian citizens

YOUNGSTOWN - In Youngstown Saturday, members of the Arab-American Community Center gathered downtown to protest the ongoing situation between Israel and Palestine.
The group gathered in support of innocent Palestinian citizens who they say are being killed and displaced by the Israeli Government.
"Right now they're experiencing an ethnic cleansing from the Israeli government," said Haneen Adi. "There's nothing equal about this conflict. It's an oppressor versus an oppressed people. it's important that that language is used more and the people in the states understand what's really happening on the ground in Palestine."
Protestors hope they can help shift the narrative to tell a more accurate description of the rift between Palestine and Israel.
President Biden has said Israel has a right to defend itself after Hamas, a terrorist organization, fired more than 15 hundred missiles into Israeli cities.
