BOARDMAN, Ohio -  People looking for work will have a chance to apply for a job with one of the Valley’s newest employers as well as businesses at the Southern Park Mall.

Mall officials have announced a partnership with TJX Companies to hold a community job fair on May 22 and May 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the mall.

TJX Companies as well as Southern Park Mall retailers will be on hand in center court to meet with job seekers who will have an opportunity to complete applications on the spot and schedule interviews.

Available positions include full-time, part-time, seasonal, as well as positions with benefits and long-term career opportunities.

TJX, which has constructed a distribution center in Lordstown, is an apparel and home fashions retailer which operates T.J. Maxx and Marshalls (combined, Marmaxx), HomeGoods, Sierra, and Homesense, as well as tjmaxx.com, marshalls.com, and sierra.com,

The Southern Park Mall is located at 7401 Market St. in Boardman, OH.

TJX has said they are hiring for support, clerical, and general warehouse positions.

TJX expects to bring approximately 1,000 jobs to the Lordstown area.
