BOARDMAN, Ohio - The Valley took part in a worldwide effort to raise money for men's health.

The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is an annual event that brings together classic and vintage style motorcycle riders from all over to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men's mental health.

Youngstown Cycle Supply in Boardman put together a local ride for the first time, which raised $1,900 and drew more than 40 riders.

"For it being our first year... I was kind of ecstatic when we had 15, and I was thinking if we can get 20, 25 that would be perfect," said Adam Pratt, owner of Youngstown Cycle Supply. "Literally in the past week, it's blown up."

People can go to the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride website for more information or to donate.
