Warren man alleges knife attack by jealous teen girlfriends

WARREN, Ohio - A 19-year-old Warren man is telling police he was cut with a knife while trying to escape from a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl who were angry because he’d been sleeping with both of them.
Police say a man with severe cuts on his hand told them that his 17-year-old girlfriend invited him to her parent’s Wood Ave. SW home Friday afternoon.
According to the alleged victim, when he went into his girlfriend’s bedroom, she and her fifteen-year-old girlfriend confronted him about sleeping with both of them.
He claims the girls jumped on him and backed him into a corner with a knife, saying that other young children in the home were bringing the girl’s objects to throw at him. He also said they used the knife to cut off two of his dreadlocks.
The 19-year-old says he cut his hand when he tried to grab the knife, pushing the fifteen-year-old out of his way and escaping from the home, asking a neighbor to call 9-1-1.
The girls had a slightly different version of the story, admitting to officers that they confronted the boyfriend, but claiming he got upset and pushed one of them, cutting his hand when he grabbed the knife.
The 19-year-old boyfriend refused hospital treatment.
Both girls were turned over to their parents while police investigate.
