NEW CASTLE, Pa. -  Bond is set at $300,000 for the suspect arrested in connection to threats made against New Castle High School.

Octavios Clark, 32, of New Castle was arrested around 7 p.m. Monday evening and arraigned before a district magistrate.

Clark, who is being held in the Lawrence County Jail on charges of felony terroristic threats, is scheduled for another hearing on June 9.

New Castle Police say the suspect is the sole person responsible for the threat and all school activities can resume as normal.

The charges stem from a threat made against New Castle Schools on Friday, May 28, that resulted in a lockdown.

Police were made aware of the threats while the school's promenade event was going on.

Investigators told 21 News that they spoke to the suspect on the phone and pinpointed their possible location as being near New Castle High School.

New Castle police officers and the Lawrence County Special Response Team were able to escort students and guests to their cars.
