NEW WATERFORD, Ohio - The Village of New Waterford is receiving $227,795 at 2% for five years for the design of 35,000 feet of aging sewers.

The new sewers will be along East Main Street, Creek Road, Allendale Avenue, Pinewood Drive, Boardman Street, and Front Street.

The money for the sewer project comes from the Ohio Water Development Authority for wastewater and drinking water improvements.

Ohio created the OWDA to provide funding for public water and wastewater infrastructure.

A total of $6.5 million in financing is being awarded to Ohio communities through low-interest loans.
