NILES, Ohio - If you have unused or expired prescription pills taking up space in your medicine cabinet, you can attend a Mahoning Valley Scrappers game and get rid of them.
The Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention, the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office, and the Scrappers are sponsoring a prescription drug disposal event during Friday's game.
The Sheriff's Office will be collecting the unused, unwanted, or expired medication in the TAG trailer parked at Eastwood Field.
Free tickets to the game will be given for each container of medication brought for disposal.
Medications should be kept in their original containers.
The Scrappers game against the West Virginia Black Bears starts at 7:05 p.m.
