Victim of fatal Lawrence Co. one-car crash identified

Officers found a person on the ground, near the vehicle off the side of the road.

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Lawrence Co., Pa. - A car crash in Taylor Township in Lawrence County left one man dead.

The crash happened on Route 422 near the Martha Street overpass around 2:30 a.m.

According to State Police, 39-year-old Jason Geminiani was driving westbound when his car went off-road and struck an embankment that divides Route 422.

Geminiani's car then hit the guardrail of the eastbound lanes before overturning and ejecting him.

The car continued until it hit a road sign on the embankment.

Geminiani was pronounced dead at the scene.
