Dogs die after fall from Mahoning Ave. Bridge
The dog warden said the report came in from a passerby who claims to have witnessed the dogs jumping from the bridge Monday morning.

Youngstown Police and the Mahoning County Dog Warden are investigating a report of two dogs who died after jumping from the Mahoning Avenue Bridge.
The dog warden said the report came in from a passerby who claims to have witnessed one of the dogs jumping from the bridge Monday morning. The second dog followed.
According to the dog warden’s Facebook post, a male dog was barely able to move its head while a female dog was unable to move the back part of her body.
Both dogs have been taken to a veterinarian who said the injuries were too severe and both succumbed.
Authorities say it appears that both dogs had been on their own for a while.
