Three people were sent to the hospital after an Austintown crash.

The three-vehicle accident happened around 4 p.m. on Monday. It was at the intersection of Route 46 and Mahoning Avenue.

One of the vehicles flipped on its side and a pole was knocked down.

Fire crews said three people were taken to the hospital. They add there may be serious injuries, but the people involved were up and walking around when they got there.

There was no entrapment.

The intersection was closed off in the area, but it has since reopened.
