Northeast Ohio gas prices fall slightly, lower than national average
The average national pump price is currently $3.14.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - As demand for gasoline hits record levels across the nation, gas prices in Northeast Ohio are slightly lower than last week and below the national average.
The average gas price per gallon in Northeast Ohio this week is $2.964, down 3.1 cents over the previous week.
The price per gallon is up almost 80 cents compared to this time last year.
According to AAA, area gas prices are lower than the regional average with Niles at $2.950 and Youngstown at $2.963.
The average national pump price is currently $3.14.
AAA says Americans are moving into peak summer driving season and gas prices are not backing down.
