A Youngstown woman who police say was part of a plot to murder a Campbell man more than four years ago is going to prison for fifteen years.

Lyric Moore, 25, was immediately sentenced Thursday after pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated burglary.

Moore had been on trial this week in Mahoning County Court on charges of aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, kidnapping, and tampering with evidence.

Moore and Terrell Martin had been charged in connection with the death of Zachary Howell, who after being shot in the head was left in a burning van along Josephine Avenue on Youngstown’s East Side in February 2017.

Martin was convicted earlier and is serving a sentence of 18 years to life.
