One dead, house destroyed after fire in Sebring
Chief Springer said a train was moving through Sebring at the time, blocking three different paths to the home.
One man is dead following a fatal house fire in Sebring.
The fire happened Saturday night around 10 p.m. at a home at 447 West New York Avenue.
Sebring Fire Chief Michael Springer told 21 News that the fire started in the living room but the cause is still undetermined.
A train passing through the area slowed the fire department's response to the home.
Chief Springer said a train was moving through Sebring at the time, blocking three different paths to the home.
The home is a total loss according to Springer.
The victim's identity has not been released.
