No citations given during weekend OVI checkpoints in Mahoning Co.
A total of 187 cars passed through the checkpoints.

CANFIELD, Ohio - The Mahoning County OVI Task Force has released results from last weekend's checkpoints in Boardman.
According to the release, no enforcement action was taken during either checkpoint. Officers did not observe any impaired driving or criminal violations.
Both checkpoints took place in Boardman. The first was held on South Avenue near Midlothian Boulevard from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. with a second from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Market Street near Ferncliff.
A total of 187 cars passed through the checkpoints.
The OVI Task Force says it's encouraging to see people making good decisions and not driving while impaired.
