A Stoneboro woman was hospitalized for a mental evaluation after police say she admitted attempting suicide by crashing her car into a pole.

STONEBORO, Pa. - A Stoneboro woman was hospitalized for a mental evaluation after police say she admitted attempting suicide by crashing her car into a pole.
Police were called to Walnut Street in Stoneboro Friday night where a subcompact SUV had struck a utility pole.
Officers say the 29-year-old driver, who appeared to be severely intoxicated told them she was trying to kill herself.
The woman was taken to Sharon Regional Medical Center for mental health treatment.
She'll be charged with DUI, according to police.
