SANDUSKY, Ohio - Cedar Point is gearing up for the return of Cedar Point Nights beginning Aug. 6.

The festivities will run from Aug. 6 through Sept. 5 letting guests of all ages party after dark along the mile-long strand of Cedar Point Beach.

Cedar Point Nights will consist of three zones with various activities for guests. The Party Zone is the home of a glow-in-the-dark beach party complete with a DJ and glow-in-the-dark furniture. Additionally, the Silent Disco allows guests to select a musical genre of their choice through special headphones.

The Family Fun & Chill Zones will consist of games for guests such as winner wheel, football toss, light-up-the-net, glow volleyball, cornhole and light-up limbo. Additionally, this zone will include face painting, a sandbox seashell dig and multiple fire pits for guests to relax at.

The Beach Blast Grill & Beverage Shack will be serving up food and specialty beverages for guests.

However, Cedar Point Nights aren't limited to just the beach. The rest of the park also has nightly attractions.

New this year is Dine in the Dark at the park's Lakeside Dining Room. This will be a glow-in-the-dark all-you-can-eat dining experience. The room will consist of glowing food and beverage stations. Each table consists of a variety of foods such as coconut perch filet tortillas, spicy pepper shrimp with saffron rice, eye round of beef with garlic butter sauce, grilled boneless pork chops and more. Dessert options include sweet plantain bread pudding, tres leches cake and Brigadeiro.

Additionally, the rides in the park will be illuminated with colorful bulbs giving fan-favorite attractions a whole new look.

Cedar Point nights come free for all guests with admission running nightly from Aug. 6 through Sept. 15 starting at 7 p.m. weather permitting. Dine in the Dark is held Tuesday through Sunday nights from 5:30 to 7:30. Dinner tickets are discounted if purchased in advance online.
