Update: Mahoning Valley human trafficking suspect due in court Thursday, no warrant issued

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - No bench warrant was issued for a suspect in the large Mahoning Valley human trafficking sting after a clerical error initially caused some confusion on Tuesday.
Matthew Davis, 30, is scheduled to be arraigned in Mahoning county court in Sebring on Thursday to answer to charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, importuning and possession of criminal tools.
20 suspects were arraigned on Tuesday in Mahoning county court in Canfield.
During that hearing, paperwork for Davis' case was mixed in with the other defendants.
When Judge Molly Johnson called Davis' name and he was not present on Tuesday, Johnson said she would have to issue a bench warrant for him.
After the hearing, Johnson noticed the clerical mistake and no bench warrant was ever issued.
Many of the suspects that appeared in court were released on bond and ordered not to access the internet.
In all, 34 people were arrested during the investigation to crack down on people allegedly trying to engage in sexual activity with children online.
