NILES, Ohio - For the second night in a row, the Mahoning Valley Scrappers have announced the cancellation of a home game due to COVID-19 concerns.

Friday night's Mahoning Valley Scrappers game has been canceled to allow for additional testing and contact tracing of members of both teams.

According to a statement from the team, the Scrappers are adhering to the MLB Draft League's health and safety protocols as they follow the guidance of experts.

All tickets from tonight's game will be good for equal value tickets to any 2022 Scrappers home game.

Thursday's game against West Virginia was canceled as well for similar reasons.
