Suspect brought from Indiana to face Niles, Hubbard robbery charges
A suspect in a multi-state robbery spree has been brought back to Trumbull County to face charges in Niles and Hubbard.
Miambo Maombi, 21, of Boise Idaho was booked into the Trumbull County Jail on Monday. He was brought from the Hendricks County, Indiana Jail where he has been locked up since June when he was arrested in Indiana after he ran from a traffic stop.
Maombi is charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping in connection with the June 13 holdup at the Circle K on West Liberty Street in Hubbard.
The suspect is also charged with robbing a Dominos Pizza that same day in Niles.
In addition, Maombi is a suspect in several robberies in the Pittsburgh area just days before the Trumbull County crimes.
Allegheny County Police believe he robbed 7-Eleven stores in Castle Shannon and South Fayette Twp., as well as Dominos Pizza shops in Robinson Township and West View Borough.
