WARREN, Ohio -  Gunfire sent people ducking for cover at a Warren gas station late Wednesday.

A caller to 9-1-1 reported hearing more than a dozen shots fired at the Fast Fuel on Parkman Road at around 8:30 p.m.

Witnesses told police that the shots followed a two-car collision at the business.

Police are looking for a red car that left its bumper behind at the Fast Fuel.

In addition to shell casings scattered over the lot, investigators say they found fresh blood at the scene.

At the last report, police were still checking hospitals to see if any victims showed up.

One nearby homeowner told police that his home was struck by a bullet.  The owner of a Nissan Maxima also told police her car had bullet holes.

Police surrounded the gas station lot with crime scene tape while the investigation was being conducted.
