Authorities release name of Liberty fire victim

The Summit County Coroner has identified the four-year-old boy who died in an August 20th fire in Liberty Township as Desmond Robinson.
The child passed away over the weekend in an Akron hospital. A Liberty fire captain told 21 News that a three-year-old girl is still in the hospital.
Firefighters from surrounding communities rushed to a neighborhood Liberty Township when it was reported that two children were in a burning home.
A 9-1-1 caller told a dispatcher that smoke filled the interior of the apartment on the 3000 block of Green Acres drive shortly before 5 a.m.
Dispatchers told firefighters that there may be two children, ages 3 and 4 in the upstairs portion of the apartment who couldn't be located because of heavy smoke.
The first firefighter on the scene reported smoke coming from the building.
Both children were brought out and rushed to Mercy Hospital in Youngstown.
The children were later transferred to Akron Children's Hosptial

and was called in after 5 a.m. as firefighters performed CPR on a second victim.
