Crash brings down utility pole, wires on Youngstown's west side

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police had a busy Saturday night being called to a car crash following reports of gunfire downtown.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. on the city's west side.

Officers found that a car hit a utility pole on North Hazelwood Avenue.

The collision knocked the pole over and brought down wires.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
