NORTH JACKSON, Ohio - OSP's Mahoning County branch received a call at approximately 3:33 p.m. in regards to a semi that was driven off the road.

The accident occurred on I-76 near Route 45 and just east of Bailey Rd. in North Jackson.

According to Mahoning County OSP, the semi, which was hauling eggs, blew a steer tire, which is what caused the vehicle to be driven off the road.

The semi was the only vehicle involved in the accident and the driver has no reported injuries.

One lane going westbound is currently closed in the area. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is currently on the scene.
