YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Members of the Youngstown Police Department will be picketing in the city Wednesday and Friday.
The Youngstown Police Association will picket between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Front and Hazel near the Vindicator building and in front of City Hall on Boardman Street.
The group says they will be providing the public with information on why the police union is fed up with offers from the City.
A letter from the Youngstown Police Association to Mayor Tito Brown says the union will be joined by the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association.
The letter cites Youngstown's rich labor history and deep connections to unions as a reason for payment to reflect the service of police officers.
