BOARDMAN, Ohio - A Boardman man was arraigned on a charge of Felonious Assault in court on Thursday.

These charges come from an altercation between Damian Cessna (24) and a Boardman Township Officer on July 13th.  

During the incident, Cessna had a knife and threatened officers, who were warning him multiple times to drop the weapon. 

Cessna was shot and transported to Mercy Hospital for surgery.

Bond was set at $15,000 and Cessna is ordered to have no contact with the officer involved in the altercation. Cessna's next hearing is Tuesday, Sept. 14.
