WARREN, Ohio - Warren City Council was very heated on Wednesday as council members and residents expressed their frustrations with the constant flooding in the area.

Residents shared their stories of thousands of dollars worth of belongings destroyed after sewer water flooded their houses last months. Residents also expressed anger towards city officials for not doing enough to help the issue.

Some residents urged city officials to work more diligently on cleaning the sewers or even having them replaced. Others suggested using ARP funding to pay for the expenses.

Some council members' and even Mayor Doug Franklin's homes were affected by the flooding and officials agree that this is a major issue that needs to be addressed. Three ordinances were passed to clean the sewers.
