"Operation Starsky and Hutch" conducted at New Castle apartment
NEW CASTLE, Pa. - Detectives from the Lawrence County District Attorney's Special Investigation Unit, New Castle City Narcotics, Union Township Police and the Lawrence County District Attorney's Criminal Investigation Division executed "Operation Starky and Hutch" at an apartment on Allen Street on Wednesday.
A search warrant was conducted at 611, Allen St. Apt. 2, which housed Alvin Perkins Jr. Upon securing the residence, the following items were seized:
-One baggie of 12.15 grams of what is suspected to be crack cocaine
-One baggie containing 4.92 grams of what is suspected to be heroin
-One baggie of 2.86 grams of what is suspected to be crack cocaine
-$4,101
-One "point blank" body armor
-One stolen 9mm handgun with two loaded magazines and one digital weigh scale
The two occupants of the residence Alvin Perkins Jr. and Riley Rosta were taken into police custody and charged with several narcotics and firearms violations of Pennsylvania law.
