Trumbull County receives grant for roadwork improvements

Trumbull county, Ohio - Lordstown is rewarded grant to help economic growth and development.
The state Controlling Board has approved the release of 340,000 dollars to the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments project, for public roadwork improvements in support of the organizations project in Lordstown, Trumbull County.
The funding will go towards improvements of roadwork to support the expansion and attraction of business to Lordstown. The funds will be used for paving, widening, road construction, reconstruction, sewer enhancements, and utility line improvements.
Specifically, the funds will be allocated to resurfacing Hallock Youngs Rd. from Ellsworth Bailey Rd. to State Route 45.
"This will allow for additional economic development in the Lordstown area following the region's upward economic trend," said State Representative Mike Loychik.
Loychik is currently serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives, and represents the 63rd Ohio House District, which includes portions of Trumbull County.
