Car shot up in Youngstown Monday night

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police were dispatched to Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown at approximately 7:29 p.m. on Monday night regarding a car that was shot up with a woman inside.
Upon arrival to the scene, officers found a female victim inside the vehicle that was struck. The victim was uninjured.
The victim advised officers that she was getting ready to leave to return to her home in Michigan when she heard what she initially thought to be fireworks, but turned out to be gunfire.
The victim went on to advise officers that she saw a person near the fence line along Marshall St. south of the parking lot in what she believed to be a red shirt upon exiting her vehicle after the shooting had stopped.
The victim's vehicle had multiple bullet holes in the windshield, backside window, front door / fender and both driver's side tires flat.
Police asked the victim if she had any enemies in the area, to which she replied she did not.
Upon further investigation of the scene, officers found a total of 34 7.62x39 spent shell casings in the grass inside the fence line, as well as on the property. Officers also found two live rounds outside the fence line, which were also 7.62x39.
Police then spoke to the owner who stated that the property itself was also struck by gunfire with bullet holes damaging his fence. The owner then guided officers to a trailer that his associate had parked on his property, which was also struck by gunfire and damaged with multiple bullet holes.
Police were then approached by the owner of another business on Mahoning Avenue who stated he had a glass break alarm prompting him to come to his business.
Upon investigation of the business, officers found the exterior south facing wall to have multiple bullet holes, and upon entry, found multiple windows, walls, doors and glass partitions to be damaged by gunfire. Additionally, officers found two slugs near a rear north wall with one on the floor and another embedded into the wall.
