East Liverpool Police want details concerning two recent homicides
The East Liverpool Police are making a plea on social media for the public's help in solving two murders in recent months.
The department is actively investigating both cases. The first occurred on Mapletree Street and the other occurred on Pennsylvania Avenue, both in East Liverpool.
Twenty-seven-year-old Dion McMillion was discovered dead with gunshot wounds while inside a vehicle on Mapletree Street. Friends said he had moved from New Jersey to Ohio to get a new start. He was the father of a two-year-old child.
Police told 21 News that the second incident took place when someone approached a crowded porch and began shooting when an argument broke out. Only two officers were at the scene that night, which the department says was because of a staff shortage.
The East Liverpool Police Department asks anyone with details to call them at 330-385-1234 and speak with Captain Darin Morgan.
