Suspect in Boardman officer-involved shooting indicted
During the incident, Cessna allegedly had a knife and was threatening officers, who were warning him multiple times to drop the weapon.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Mahoning County Grand Jury has indicted a Boardman man that was involved in an officer-involved shooting.
The three-count indictment of 24-year-old Damian Cessna includes a count of felonious assault, obstructing official business and aggravated menacing.
Cessna's indictment stems from an altercation with a Boardman police officer that happened on July 13th.
During the incident, Cessna allegedly had a knife and was threatening officers, who were warning him multiple times to drop the weapon.
Cessna was shot by officers and was taken to Mercy Hospital for surgery.
His bond was set at $15,000 and was ordered to have no contact with the officer involved in the altercation.
