AAA East Central is announcing the opening of the Auto Club Driving School in Niles, Ohio.

The school opens Friday, October 1, and is open Monday through Friday 9a.m.-6p.m., and on Saturdays 9a.m. to 2p.m.

The driving school will be offering behind the wheel instruction provided by a state-licensed, AAA-certified instructor.

The school is designed for teens, ages 15-and-a-half to 18, and it provides students the opportunity to meet Ohio's requirements and move forward towards obtaining a valid driver's license.

Each student must complete eight hours of real-time driving, and the course is comprised of four two-hour sessions with a vehicle provided by AAA.

Students can schedule drives with instructors outside of regular business hours.

AAA wants to ensure that young drivers learn important skills to be safe and responsible on the road, and to ease the mind of parents with first-time teenage drivers.

AAA has been training drivers since 1935, and has Auto Club Driving School's in multiple locations throughout Ohio.
